Maharashtra, which voted in four phases in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, had given the Bharatiya Janata Party-Shiv Sena combine 41 of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in 2014.
After Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra sends the highest number of representatives to the Lok Sabha. Here are what the six exit poll surveys – Chanakaya-News24, Axis My India- India Today, Nielsen- ABP, Times-VMR , CNN-IPS and CVoter – predict for the state in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
According the News18-IPSOS prediction, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance will get 42 to 45 seats, while the Congress-NCP alliance will get 4 to 6 seats in the state.
CVoter survey predicted 34 seats for the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance, while the Congress-NCP alliance is predicted to get 14 seats.
While the Congress-NCP is expected to get 6-10 seats, the NDA is predicted to bag 38-42 seats according to India Today-Axis predictions.
The NDA stands at 38, while the UPA stands at 10 seats according to Chanakya - News24 survey.
The ABP-Nielsen survey has predicted 14 seats for the UPA in Maharashtra.
