The Delhi government has decided to reopen schools, colleges, coaching institutes and gyms amid decreasing COVID-19 cases in the national capital, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said on Friday, 4 February.

What are the night curfew timings?

Meanwhile, the duration of night curfew has been reduced by an hour, and the revised hours are 11 pm to 5 am.

Should I continue to wear a mask inside the car?

Single drivers in cars will be exempted from the mask mandate.

When will schools reopen?

School will resume for students from class 9 to 12 on 7 February. Meanwhile, classes for students of standard 8 and below will resume from 14 February. However, hybrid classes will continue for some time.

Coaching institutes will also be allowed to reopen.

What about gyms and spas?

  • Gyms, spas, and swimming pools in the city will reopen as well.

  • Business-to-business exhibitions will be allowed in the city too, the deputy chief minister said.

What's the order on restaurants?

All restaurants can now open till 11 pm.
