"In just 19 days, more than 1 crore Precaution Doses have been administered to healthcare and frontline workers and eligible people above 60+ age," Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced in a tweet.

Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya reviewed public health preparedness to COVID-19 and vaccination progress with eight southern States/UTs.
He reiterated focus on 5-fold strategy of Test-Track-Treat-Vaccinate and Adherence to COVID Appropriate Behaviour in the meeting.
Mandaviya said, “Mutual understanding, sharing best practices and collaborative spirit between the Centre and States have helped us in our fight against the pandemic”.

Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar informed on Friday, that as per thegGenome sequencing results in the state, 67.5 percent Omicron and 26 percent Delta cases in third wave of COVID-19 have been reported.
He added that 90.7 percent Delta cases were reported in the second wave.
West Bengal reported 3,805 cases with a daily positivity rate of 6.15 percent on Friday. A total 61,883 tests were conducted.
Assam reported 2,861 new cases, 21 deaths, and 6,002 recoveries on Friday. Number of active cases stands at 32,013.
